Microsoft kb45775869/11/2023 For more details about Microsoft’s plans, see Update on Adobe Flash Player End of Support. Once installed, you cannot uninstall KB4577586. Installing KB4577586 will remove Adobe Flash Player permanently from your Windows device. For more information, please see KACE UserVoice (139610).As part of the end of support for Adobe Flash, KB4577586 is now available as an optional update from Windows Update (WU) and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS). To suggest changes to the KACE Systems Management Appliance (SMA), join us on KACE Uservoice. Removing the Flash component will cause any dependent applications to stop working, applying this patch must be made with extreme caution. For reference please see: How to Deploy a Microsoft Hotfix with Managed Install Note: This Microsoft patch cannot be reverted and when applied, there is no rollback process. If this optional update needs to be deployed to a managed device, as a workaround, deployment can be done through a managed install or a script. If the update is installed to a system by mistake, Adobe Flash Player can only be recovered by resetting the device to an earlier system restore point, or reinstalling the operating system on the device. This decision has been made considering the catastrophic implications it could have if mistakenly deployed to devices where applications may need Adobe Flash Player to work properly. Due to the nature of KB4577586 which causes the removal of Adobe Flash Player from target devices, this update will not be offered through the KACE Patch Catalog.
